Module 1 - Emotional Intelligence

Enhanced awareness is the foundation for choosing how to respond rather than reacting on autopilot.
Module 2 - Beliefs About Emotions
Here, we examine the stories we tell ourselves about feelings—“Anger is bad,” “Showing sadness is weakness,” or “I shouldn’t feel this way.” You’ll learn to spot limiting beliefs that cause shame or avoidance, then challenge and reframe them. By shifting to more balanced perspectives, such as “All emotions are valid signals”, you open the door to healthier responses.
Module 3 - Emotions Are Data
In this session, we reframe emotions as valuable data, much like dashboard lights in a car. Anger might signal boundary violations; sadness could point to unmet needs. You’ll practice interpreting emotional signals objectively and asking questions like, “What is this feeling trying to tell me?” This mindset helps you gather useful insights without judgment.
Module 4 - Emotional Regulation
Now that you can read your emotional dashboard, we explore strategies to regulate strong feelings. You’ll learn both short‑term “first‑aid” techniques (deep breathing, grounding) and longer‑term practices (cognitive reframing, self‑soothing rituals). These tools help you stay calm under pressure, reduce emotional overwhelm, and maintain clarity when the stakes are high.
Module 5 - Emotional Expression
Expressing emotions effectively is as important as regulating them. In this session, you’ll practice communicating feelings with honesty and respect—whether sharing appreciation, setting boundaries, or voicing disappointment. You’ll learn frameworks for “I statements,” active listening, and responding to others’ emotions with empathy, so your relationships grow stronger.
Module 6 - Your Emotional Intelligence Plan
In our final session, you’ll pull everything together into a personalized EI action plan. You’ll review your strengths and growth areas, set specific goals (e.g., “Pause before reacting when I’m frustrated”), and choose daily practices to sustain progress. With clear milestones and accountability strategies, you’ll leave ready to continue your emotional intelligence journey long after the program ends.
